see, all the questions of yours are related to your whole day work out like whom you spoke up that day , whom you flighted with or why were you happy that day .if in a night mare you were scared and needed help , it might be that you still have faith in your ex husband and not relying in your bf . but as in your information that you called your bf's name it could have also happen that it was a misunderstanding of name .but it is very rare that you remember your mare .i hope you will like the answer . NOTE - whenever you want to remember your dream of night, then when you wake up at morning keep a note pad at your side table and note it down you will be able to discuss the dream with anybody .

Don't let nightmares get to you its just your subconscious unraveling from the pressures of the day. Change your bedtime routine.. don't eat the stuff you ate last night.. meditation/prayer before bedtime really helps relieve the stress before you sleep then the subconscious is more relaxed and the REM will be more pleasant.

hmmmm....... do you have nitemares often? You may also want to look at what kind of stress is in your life. Usually dreams represent other things than what they are. I sleep with a bible under my pillow during stressful times to keep nitemares away.

Stress or aspertame. Those were what were causing mine. When both were eliminated, no more violent nightmares.
