Does somebody knows how to use me PC as a fax,too?

Question

Besides,most popular "eFax" which is not free is there any FREE way/method or software that can give me that "virtual fax number" which I need to send/receive faxes?!

Don't know of a totally free program --- but I know of one that is so bleeding cheap it might as well be--- it is called ClickFax and it is available for less than the price of a burger ( $ 3.50 USD) at

It takes a fax/modem and a land line telephone connection. The software that comes with the modem will let you print a page to the fax, just like an inkjet printer. Some fax/modems are also voice, so they can make your machine an answer machine besides listening for a fax (there's a beep between each ring on incoming fax). Otherwise, to use DSL and the web, it takes a monthly service charge.

Most computers these days come with a FAX./Modem. You need only hook your modem to the phone line and then use the FAXING software which is part of XP to send a fax. Check here for more information:

Otherwise, Check with K7.NET, they have free voice mail and fax lines. The fax shows up in your email as an attachment.
