Hi Im a 20 year old who makes my mom take the bone out because I get grossed out I am not sure how to live normally lol i totally understand u its not exactly laziness u used the wrong word seems like
My mom actually removes all bones for us entire family especially fish i feel kind of spoiled but just tell him that you will die out of hunger if you lived in todays world and if u eat out for example with ur gf ok she might help but not always ppl get annoyed and if he is lazy tell him ur strong enough to pull out the bone

Encourage? You have got to be kidding. You need to stop treating him like a baby or he will continue acting like one. There is no one to blame but you for his ridiculous behavior. If that was my son, he would either get the meat off on his own or he wouldn't be eating any chicken.

I'm sorry but I can't blame him...It's your fault for letting him get away with it. Your embarrassment at parties should be for yourself. Try letting him grow up..If he don't de-bone his own chicken, he don't eat chicken. it's really as simple as that. This boy will be living at home until he's 30, if you don't stop treating him like a 3 year old...

Just tell him if you want to eat then you will fix the food i prepared on your plate the way you want it I'm not doing it anymore. And let it go don't give in.If you ask me that is ridicules.Make him grow up and stop using you good luck

Don't cook chicken with the bone in it...avoid the problem altogether. Are there any other outrageous requests that he has for you? It may be part of a bigger problem: dependency.

Come on mom, it is time to tell him to stop being lazy. If you do not do it, and he gets hungry enough, he will do it. Sounds to me as if he plans to live with you a very long time.

Next time this comes up, absolutely refuse to do it. He's so used to having you to do it for him and it really should stop. He's WAY too old for that BS!

I'm wondering if there is anything else he doesn't like doing that you will do for him. You gotta stop Mom, it's for his own good. He's gotta grow up and be on his own someday.
