people with constant pain, aching and muscle problems should experience the benifits of cannabis herbal leaf. A friend of mine is in a very bad way, he has started to smoke cannabis purely as a medicine to help ease the pain he is in. None of the tablets the doctor gave him helped with the pain. the cannabis made his body relax and in turn he has a better quality of life ...with a smile on his face!

Define good cannabis?
Are we talkins Sativa's? Indicas? Ruderalis?
Resins? Scuff? Silk screene? isolator?
Charis?
THC content anything from 6% up to 30%
Whilst there are infinite uses an benefits of medicinal use and recreational there are consequences as well.
Now, taking mental health for example and the triggers for schizophrenia, although it has been proven that THC triggers the onset it has to be dormant in your system in the first place.
Cannabis psychosis can occur from hybreds where the THC (sorry, Delta 9 tetrahydracannabinol) content is high as with all things to much is not a good thing, just look at bananas eat 20 of them in a day an you'll kill yourself from the potassium.
There are a lot of unknowns about the increased levels of THC an there long term effects, largely because its only in the last thirty years that they have been crossbred for this reason.
Look at "skunk" (or what people call skunk anyway, the original F1 seeds went out of circulation with the growers in Holland nearly 20years ago) its a cross between a Mexican female Sativa and an Afghan Male Indica, an despite popular belief is not one of the stronger the THC contents around 16 - 22 %.
Back in the '70's THC content was roughly 6 to 11% content and was a very different plant.
Sorry I would write more but I'm burning my lunch, argghhh!!!!
Feel free to email.
Peace.

Cannabis is worser for you than cigarettes. Three joints a day is like 20 cigarettes according the the British Lung Association.

1: The sale of Canabis fuels serious organised crime.
2: It causes mental health issues.
3: It can lead onto more serious narcotics such as heroin.
4: It is illegal.
I understand that you are getting good pain relief from the herb, if it was available through prescription and the risks/side effects were made aware to you then fine go ahead.
Unfortunately we don't live in a world where this happens, think of the drug dealer who sells you some hash, he then uses that money to buy more 'stock', these could be various narcotics who may be sold to anyone from businessmen to children...ruining their lives.....still see nothing wrong with it?
I used to smoke weed when I was younger and that led to me being addicted to it for a while and then I was addicted to cigs, thankfully I don't do neither now.
There are other methods of pain relief.

The only reason it is illegal is because it is just a simple plant that anyone can grow, dry-out and smoke.
Not controllable by the establishment.
And compared to alcohol, the effects of which is arrogance and stupidity and which is promoted and encouraged in society; cannabis tends to make people think and reflect, which is far more dangerous to the establishment, because an arrogant and stupid people is easy to control, but a thinking people isn't.
Outside these facts, it makes absolutely no sence that it is an illegal substance.

Absolutely nothing wrong , the government still hasn't gotten it . It should have been legalized a Long time ago and controlled as well . It reminds me of the prohibition days that have heard of read so much about and that didn't work as well either .Cannabis are better for you than alcohol and there isn't a doubt in my mind if used wisely .

Exactly the same as bad cannabis. Here's a tip that may help. DON'T smoke it. Cannabis causes mental problems particularly depression and paranoia also schizophrenia! Additionally it causes physical brain damage including brain shrinkage. I often wonder if that is a greater risk since logically it would be people whose brains are smaller in the first place that would be stupid enough to abuse their bodies in this way.

I take it that skunk is a 'good cannabis'? There are loads of health alerts around the UK about dealers adding ground glass to make it weigh more. Smoke that at your peril!

generally speaking cannabis is much LESS harmful than the tobacco most people smoke with it, and it is generally better for you than alcohol too.
However, recent studies have indicated that cannabis can cause or trigger psychosis in susceptible people (and you won't know if you are susceptible, unless you have family, or personal history of severe mental health problems)
I think that's the major problem with it, outside of legality, but then, if alcohol or tobacco was discovered now, both of those would probably be illegal too!.

I hope you take it some other way than smoking it as that is bad for your lungs, apart from that nothing I can see although there are medical debates ongoing into the possible problems/ side effects of it's use!
