Apparently the fossil record is deceiving us. Hey, we just call 'em like we see 'em!

1 Corinthians 6:9
Do you not know that the unrighteous and the wrongdoers will not inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived (misled): neither the impure and immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor those who participate in homosexuality,
1 Corinthians 6:8-10 (in Context) 1 Corinthians 6 (Whole Chapter)

1 Corinthians 15:33
Do not be so deceived and misled! Evil companionships (communion, associations) corrupt and deprave good manners and morals and character.
1 Corinthians 15:32-34 (in Context) 1 Corinthians 15 (Whole Chapter)

Galatians 6:7
Do not be deceived and deluded and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at (scorned, disdained, or mocked by mere pretensions or professions, or by His precepts being set aside.) [He inevitably deludes himself who attempts to delude God.] For whatever a man sows, that and that only is what he will reap.
Galatians 6:6-8 (in Context) Galatians 6 (Whole Chapter)

You can't be serious about the debunking thing.....lol...lol..
Oh, God bless his heart....
Education in the flesh is for the unrighteous
Education in the Spirit is for the hungry, and blessed are they..

May the Lord Bless you and reveal Himself to you more stronger than before. I pray He will bring to you a revelation of how Great He is.
BE BLESSED AND REJOICE IN THE LORD!

Jesus taked about a formilar spirit that would try to decieve even the very elect of God,( but you see it would try ) God has a chosen people, a chosen generation ,that will know the differance between the formilar spirit and Gods true spirit because it is the spirit of Jesus Christ the one that save his people and that same spirit has taught them the truth so if you don't have Christ in your life i suggest you ask him to be Lord of your life so he can teach you the truth.

No such phrase as 'end times' in all the Holy Bible.
However "the time of the end" does occur 5 times.
In which things are an allegory in both covenants.
http://www.godshew.org/Allegory.htm

Like any virtual game played to the end,
level of deceit increases, as you go on.
So also in biblical game of life or death,
which is to "allegory" say grace or law,
which is perhaps as the ultimate matrix,
in which perhaps all the worlds a stage,
for a God "shew", a "mystery" to solve, and "in time",
lest you and all the kingdom of God within you perish,
with the safety switch off, to make it more realistic.

Perhaps to shew servants(prophets),
that God said what he meant,
and also meant what he said:
"I will have mercy, and not sacrifice",
and the "not" part is notably not then, not now, not ever.
All who think other wise, the "earthy sensual devilish" wise,
can also bend over & dble kiss their divided @ss bye bye.

http://www.godshew.org/Sacrifice.htm

Returning to the middle ages is intellectual suicide.
Biblical literalism & Human secularism: dead ends.
The end that is already written is no such dead end.
http://www.godshew.org/NoLawNoDeadEnd.htm

Biblical progress: babe->child->man->perfect man.
Perfect man prototype is Christ: the end of the law.
http://www.godshew.org/RevelatorySermons17.htm

It's not "time past" in AD->goes one way: to the end.
It's no longer the "last days"(plural) beyond 2000AD.
It's already "the last day"(singular) in "the third day".
The prophetic "third day" is also the seventh day.
http://www.godshew.org/ThirdDay.htm

Question remaining: what sort of day will last day be?
Option 1 - "the day of the LORD": awful lawful: wrath
Option 2 - "the day of God": graceful merciful peaceful
http://www.godshew.org/RevelatorySermons19.htm

Pictorial Slideshow examples of Option 1:
http://www.godshew.org/lawphoto.htm

Hint: (from the OT prophet Amos 5:18)
Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD,
to what end [is] it(the day of the LORD) for you,
the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.

HINT: (from the Epistle Dedicatory of Bible Translators)
The Translators of the Bible wish
Grace, Mercy, and Peace, through JESUS CHRIST our Lord

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus->Christ with you all. Amen.

Here debunk this:

Man's Logic, Intelligence, Rationality, etc., applied in education provides a living for one on earth.
The work of one's hands, applied toward mankind to place value on this earth as the only knowledge, truth and way.
Leaves behind a reputation (good or bad) that will soon be forgotten and never remembered.
Looks at religion as a whole and sees foolishness.
Is this the outcome you are looking for?

Hmmm .... Not for me it is not the outcome I am looking for!

I have studied many religions including Christianity. I have studied evolution and Christian creationism. I have looked at fossil records and the age of the earth. I am a Christian. I also have a science degree. So what's this you asked about 'or those that have enough education to debunk christianity for what it truly is?'

The bible says those that will be deceived are not lovers of the truth so God allows them to be deceived.

Great question, and one that I periodically consider. In the end, I depend on my faith to guide my judgment, though that doesn't mean I don't consider alternatives.

As for your comment about education and debunking Christianity, you're really highlighting your own ignorance of both subjects with such a ridiculous statement.

It would seem to mean that there will be people saying what you are saying right now, and believing it. So I would think that the Bible is calling you a liar, because you are using deception to spoil the faith for others. It didn't work on me, mind you. But if the Bible is true, and I see no reason to credit you any sort of sophistication on the subject, then you are a liar.

The deceived are those that don't know they've been deceived. It's funny how so many people think that with their own education they are somehow capable of debunking Christianity and spend so much time trying to prove it to themselves and others.

You are one of the deceived if you think you have enough education to debunk Christianity, if you had enough education you would know that Jesus and God are real.
Get over yourself you only come across arrogant rather than intelligent.

So, every time a revered preacher man falls from grace, he becomes just another deceiver. It's like a conspiracy theory, everything, everywhere just feeds the delusion!

Jeanmarie: I was intrigued by your answer, so went to your profile. For being a scientist, you don't seem to have the slightest interest in science. Of hundreds of questions and answers, not one was in a science category. Curious, that.
