With the way the government is allowing so many foreigners into the country. England is going down the pan fast. Everything seems to be in favour of the foreigners or is just me?

What happened to the rights of the normal English person.....

I think that Britain should align with the common wealth countries like New Zea land, Canada, Australia, South Africa and even America. Europe doesn't help the British, because English is the international language, so foreigners have that on us, they have their language and they have been exposed to English at an early age, so they can come and work here. Today I saw some Eastern Europeans working on a building site, the other day I went into my bank and there was a bank clark working there from Poland, they have a Czech lady working there too. Blair has been busy telling people in this country that Eastern Europeans come here to do work that the British don't want to do, don't believe him a third of them are in managerial jobs.
I have a degree and an M.A and I only work part-time in a shop at the moment, whilst looking into what jobs Europe has for us, nothing, we recruit people from abroad to work here rather than training up the British, but no other nationality is training us in large numbers.

well andrea i am a foreigner from a eu country i haven't been favoured in any way and sorry but i couldn't tell you any positives about this country, it might be a rich country but a lot of people don;t see anything of this wealth. I don't know why people come to this country they could so much better. The English youth mus t be the worst educated in the rich world and the worst looked after with no respect for anyone or anything. Please tell me what is a normal English person and what rights does he think he should have what those so called foreigners not should have, and why do so many English people do so much trouble to become foreigners.

Well, that's me stumped. I can't think of a single reason to live in England right now even though I am English, which is why I live in Scotland and Hell will freeze over before I move back down South!
Joking apart, the standard of living is just SO much higher up here and the crime rate is considerably lower. I don't feel threatened up here when out of my home at the shops etc., like I do when visiting relatives and friends down in England.
My last trip down in November was quite frightening.

I had enough of the way England was going years ago, and its not just to do with foriegnors, England is going down the pan. Foriegners just make it seem worse. I have decided to leave England and now live in Asia a much warmer, friendlier enviroment where people treat one another with respect.

A positive thing about England...hmmmmm
nope nothing comes to mind.

Well here in South Wales you can't get a job unless you're Polish, have a poor command of the English language and are willing to work for less than minimum wage.

So things are not much better here than in England.

There is nothing at all wrong with Britain, i was born and bred here. On the other hand there is a lot wrong with the a minority of Brits, they are so wrapped up with racial hatred, that they are making their OWN lives as well as OTHERS a MISERY. I would also like to add that the true inhabitants of our green and pleasant land are the Celts, which says that the rest of us here originate from immigrants ourselves.
As it seems that most of the racial hatred in this country is also aimed mainly at the black race, let us not forget about the African slaves, dragged away by force, not through their choice, over the years to work in England and other western countries. not to mention the hardship faced by those Africans in there own countries at the hands of their so called masters during colonisation. If we let these people enter into the UK, house them free of charge and feed them free of charge for the next 1000 years, we could still not compensate them for the injustice done to them by the whites. Food for thought?
Lets live and let live.

Depends what media propaganda you believe. I love England. Great countryside, tradition, sense of humour, great range of local and foreign food.

I consider myself a normal English person (whatever that is) and my rights have improved massively over the last 20 years.

Some people are nice, some are wankers, and its got nothing to do with colour, race, origin or religion.

The only improvement I would ask for is that all the negative xenophobic moaners with a rose-tinted view of the past would just leave. Go on if you think its that bad.

Positive? Ummmmmm
There's... no.... ummmm
How about...... nope.......... ummmmmm
Ah got one.......... no I haven't........ ummmmmmmmmmm
Ummmmmmmmmmm
Sorry can't think of anything.

We do have rights! We have the right to put up with the "government" allowing more refugees in every year. We have the right to shut up about it unless we want to end up in court on charges of racism. We have the right to let employers get away with employing immigrants cuz they work for less. We have the right to WALK THE HELL AWAY when given the opportunity.

I'm currently in the process of exercising the last right, as stated above. Watch out USA, here I come.

Peace

Me... I'm here... that's a good reason to stay, because I'm just one of the silent majority of English!

And I'm positive... upbeat... I love everyone... black, white, yellow, old, young, in between, fit, or handicapped! We are all people under one sun.

It isn't immigrants that are despoiling England... it's us allowing politicians and local government to do it... if you wont or don't, get involved, then 'positive discrimination' allows those with personal agendas, to make all the rules for us.

You may not like this answer but, it's our own apathy and refusal to take part in bettering our country... to stand for election, to always let others run the show for us, that has made England so run down and prejudiced against its own!

We've brought it on ourselves!

I'm part English, Irish, Welsh, and French and possibly other blood as well... I'm white, early sixties... born in England, and I love my country... if you run it down, if you run away, you let it down...

shame on all who do

Mother England!
