The title, is pretty much it.
Most, if not all, monotheistic religions believe that their God is Omnipotent and that he wants me to believe in him and therefor worship him. Well if he created me, he MUST know what evidence my brain would need to believe in him. Why hasn't he presented it to me? And DONT tell me its my choice! It cant be because if he knows my future he knows what I WILL and WONT choose in ANY given situation! And DONT tell me I'm on a path TOWARD God, because MANY, MANY people have died not believing in a God. They never found him, and their path is OVER.
"If I came to God's court and was asked why I never believed in him, my answer would be 'not enough evidence, sir. Not enough evidence.' "

there are many who did not have a Bible or were told about God and still believed that God created this. the Bible speaks that everyone is without excuse for not believing even if they were never told only because they can look at nature and think about it and know that there was a God who created this all. not to mention you have been told about God so that is even worse. as far as evidance first as i said you have nature. second what does the Word of God say. well it says it is pointless to show people evidance because they still wont believe. when you choose to follow God and believe then everything God does for you comes to light. i am sure there are many times you needed a hand and maybe a check came in the mail because you needed money or something. but instead of giving God credit you chose to say it was luck, or it was because you chose to go that way or you were in the right place and the right time or whatever. maybe stop and say you know what that was not luck and i was not in the right place at the right time that was God who did those things for me. he shows us stuff all the time. if you dont believe you still wont. i know this because i know so many who have had miracles happen but claim it was luck or something else. some even say it is a miracle but still dont credit God. so. if you believe however then that is when things stick out and you realize.

That saddens my heart. Have you read the bible? You cannot expect a sign like what you are asking for. I went thru a simular phase but then I was able to see God in all things like the birds and such. I was having severe financial difficulties at the time and felt like God had abandonded me than a small child said well if you were a bird you would have everything you need. Do the birds question God? I think not because all their needs are taken care of by him. Yes He knows you need physical proof of his existence--it is all around you if you will take the blinders off your eyes to see. You dear are waiting for an explosion when the smoke is all around you just open up to see it. I would love to chat with you more on this matter.

Let me summarize your question: Waaaaahhhh.
And for an answer: Yes, it IS your choice. And if many, many people have died not believing in a God...why would their path be over? Doesn't that conclusion go against the entire point of religion? You gotta think things through a little better.
And if you answered "not enough evidence, sir. Not enough evidence."...I have a feeling He might reply, "well what about all these other people who did believe with the same amount of evidence you had? Sorry...not good enough."

The reason you haven't seen evidence of God is because you are thinking like a person, a selfish person. We were created by and for God. God does not answer to you. God has given proof in all of His creations, but you don't see. God has given proof in His Word, but you don't hear. There is a reason Jesus said that some are blind and some are deaf. You need to seek God and He will be revealed to you.
May God Bless you.

What evidence are you looking for when the evidence of God can be seen everywhere. Even when you look in the mirror then you are looking at evidence that God exists. All you have to do is open your eyes and heart. I hope you find what your looking for.

What is the nature of the evidence that you desire?
The reward of life eternal is a great reward not given lightly. We are asked to prove ourselves worthy. How great is the effort and desire to know God? Will we walk in his ways or not?
God reveals himself to us in his Law and Ordinances of that law but the way is hidden to be given to those who are worthy.
Would it help to be able to read scripture in a truly
understandable way? THE NEW BOOK OF FORMS by Lewis Turco contains many explanations regarding the ancient Hebrew Form. The book seems daunting at first however, a little patience and referring to scripture really pays off in knowledge or as you might refer to as evidence.
We are not taught poetic forms today which read differently from our everyday writings. Scripture is written in the Form Parallelism. Everything is in parallel: sentences divide with colon or semi-colon and reaffirm the first half or contradict it or catalog it... There are several things this does to clarify the intended meaning. In addition to the sentence structure words are in parallel with the use of metaphor. A metaphor is a word that is made equal to another word. [Egypt=house of bondage]
Also, Chapters parallel and so do books.
There is a lot of Symbolism in Scripture so look to understand the meaning of the symbolic text.

You have a point.
Most will say you aren't listening. I've not listened to people before, and they will do things to attract my attention. They never just think to themselves "Why aren't you listening?".
If humans have got the hang of this, then an omnipotent god should have this ability in a far superior way to humans. There is NO reasonable argument why a god who loves and wants people to worship him would not do his best to attract our attention.

simple question - not so simple answer(s)
god - the figure of a being, as described and defined by humanity - has been being created and re-created by mankind, since the first frightening 'aspect' of nature was experienced... thunder, lightening, winds, etc. . .
god IS a human creation, made in the image and likeness of HIS creator - MAN. This is why god has war, and strife, and so many 'negatives' in 'his' history book . . . and a 'son' who was martyred in a blood ceremony . . . only human mentality could 'create' such horrors ! and THEN believe and teach them to others - and even kill others in an effort to force them to believe this incredible stuff. . .
Best wishes to you, in your journey to search for truth . . .

If you don't believe in God, then didn't you already answer your own question? Either you are looking for a soapbox, or you are sincerely looking for a reason to believe. If the former, stop worrying and go be a happy atheist. If the latter, then maybe you really are on the path TOWARD God.
