Usually a nice greesy breakfast works nicely...a few years ago, when I was newly single and going out all that time, if I went out during the week, I'd have this breakfast sandwich from a restaurant in our building that worked wonders - toasted bagel, fried egg, cheese and bacon or sausage. Had to wrap it in paper towel to absorb some of the greese, but it was awesome!

Don't drink too much in the first place, or drink at least 3 pints of water after you get home before you get to bed. This counteracts the dehydration that mostly causes the heradaches linked with hangovers.

There is a product called Chasers that is sold wherever alcohol is sold. It is a tablet that you take before you plan to do heavy drinking. It seems to work okay. Also, following each drink with a glass of water is suppose to make you least likely to get too drunk. Strong black coffee afterwards seems to work sometimes.

Good luck and I hope you select a designated driver!

ok..listen to me seriously..it works...full english breakfast is fine but the best thing is to have a nice and spicy(just a little)Bloody Mary..yes..or even better just for the braves put in a glass 2 spoon of Ketchup one of worchester sauce and a raw egg....faboulous...
anyway to avoid hangover the first rule is "never cross malt with grapes"
so if you had wine finish with cognac or brandy and if you had beer keep on going with wisky,scotch..bourbon
