I got married in my hometown in good 'ol South Carolina.
It was dead winter, but still nice.
It was very romantic.
We had cool classic cars to ride in and that was way cool, and something I'll never forget!
Thanks for asking! I like reminiscing! ♥

Wanting to get married is romantic, the location or circumstances don't have to be.
I was married at my guy's parents house. The minister came, we invited close family and friends, my sisters-in-law did the food. It was nice. We wanted the ceremony and reception in the same place, so there would be no hassles with travel and parking. And we didn't see spending tens of thousands on a party. I think everyone had a nice day. It began about 1:30 pm on a Saturday and was over by about 5-6pm. We didn't want to shoot a whole weekend in the butt for everyone.

Romanticsm is what you and your significant other makes of it. The wedding day is just the tip of the iceberg compared to how you two are celebrating it and how your hearts are joining. It's the 'moment' which you two are actually becoming one. If it's something which you two will always have smiles from when thinking back on it, then it has dones its job of being romantic. If 50yrs down the road and you and your significant other can smile and 'relive' it freshly in your minds, then it truly was romantic!
With certain traditions, I had two wedding ceremonies with mine. The guests all thought they were both very romantic. What they saw they thought it was lovingly romantic. For us, we could never say one was more romantic than the other. Both will always bring a smile to our heart whenever we would think back on it. THAT, is how weddings should be...something to bring smiles and happiness always.
Good luck with your romantic day! =)

I got married in Jan of 2006 in Gatlinburg TN. We went to the most beautiful little white chapel and had the formal ceremony. It was snowing and just absolutely beautiful. It was the most romantic thing ever... everyone asks if we paid for fake snow... BUT I promise it was the real deal! It was like getting married in some fairytale. We loved it!!!

Southwark Registry Office, Peckham, South London.
Of course it was romantic, the most wonderful man in the world stood there and promised to love me forever - what is more romantic than that?
