Look outside your window...
Do you see the whole world? Do you see every continent and every sea and every desert and every country and every ground?
Do you see air?
If we can be created out of nothing, then why not be re-created? And why not it be by something that is beyond our minds understanding?
The problem is we percieve things only by seeing, smelling, tasting, touching, and hearing. As humans, we have many flaws, our mind many errors... We make mistakes. We are not perfect. So why not just accept the fact that we may not see everything or hear everything or know about everything?
After all, if we are prone to diseases and deaths, then who are we to decide that humans are actualy on top of the web.
A part of us believes in God in times of need, another part questions God, because we desire perfection. And our definetion of God is this perfect source which will always protect us from life's tyrannys. However, we must not only value the good in life, but also the sadness of it, or else how are we going to appreciate what we have or work our way for what we dont have?

No God. No evidence of God exists, and the number of Christians still does not prove existence. If one person has imaginary people talking to him, he's crazy; if millions of people believe in an invisible man, it's a religion.
God exists to ease the fear of death and remove guilt from the weak-willed. Anything that can't be understood is automatically turned over as "God's will" instead of pursuing the truth.
I don't need to believe in any other power but myself, and I have never been proven wrong.

These questions are put on here just to raise a ruckus, but no I don't think there is a god, and yes some people need to believe in stuff and there is nothing wrong with that. Everyone has there own opinion what happens after we die and nobody really knows the answer until they die.

I think that everyone wants to believe in something. Whether it be God, the Sun, Jehovah or so on. It makes us as humans feel like someone is taking care of us.

God is a limit to our questions. How can we explain the existence, or the movement of the stars, or the beginning of universe?
All right, there was a BIG BANG, but our reason don't achieve what happened (or there was)before.
So, we need a god to explain these things and our reason do not reject it.
We have more reasons to believe him that not.
Thank you.

I don't believe in God and I'm doing fine. I guess this is a "no" answer to both questions.

This is actually a very good question. There is some evidence that suggests the brain is "hard-wired" for belief. It is not necessarily hard-wired for belief in God, but belief generally. Since we have to have a set of assumptions that allow us to function, belief is necessary.

Yes there is a God. You have a choice to believe in Him and to follow. Read the bible. Especially in Genesis. Attend bible studies to learn more of Him.

We certainly do not need to believe in a god. In fact, in my opinion, it is usually counterproductive.
We do, however, need to believe in each other.

There is a God and you can chose to believe anything you want, free will. Disbelieving is not a crime in itself. DISSING is.
