dunno, but you can't stop it, you just have to wait for the pain to subside - same with wasabi, too much and your nose burns.....eeekkk!

She is not putting it up her nose she is saying that when she eats it hurts her nose. I am not sure why it does this though you are probably allergic to it.

Added: Yes, Theo B - we know. We're not that stupid!! Katz is right. Spicy food affects the sinuses so that's why you'll feel it in your nose.
