Is there anything I can do with bread dough that didn't rise?

My daughters decided to make bread and after asking a few questions I am reatively sure that the yeast was killed by using very hot water. Now we have a double batch of dough that hasn't risen. Any one have any ideas of what to do with it?

None that I know of. Sorry. I usually just throw mine out and start over when that happens, since the ingredients are all pretty cheap.

You should use hand hot water, you can just detect it when you put you finger in. Use you dough to make ornaments like Dianasome said. Buy your daughters a bread machine. It will mix to dough stage and then they can play about with it,make rolls, pizza, cob loaves, plaits anything in fact. Always follow a recipe it is a chemical formula which must be followed. I have made bread for ages tried varying íngrediants but you must have right amount flour, water, yeast etc. Hope this is helpful.

or fry it and sprinkle with powdered sugar

My mom would make what she called scooby snacks she would rool it out and sprinkle with white and brown sugar and cinnimmon. Us kids loved them.

pizza dough.......or flat bread.
for pizza spread with tomato base........and then your choive of topping........for flat breads just roll out to small rounds and place dirctly on the shelves inside your oven to babke.

sure...make christmas ornaments for next christmas......use cookie cutters...bake them on low temp until hard.....let them cool and decorate then when dry put on a clear sealer...good luck....nice rainy day project
