he said he wanted to take a step back to when we were dating. He said he still liked me and still wanted to go out with me. But it's been 3 days and he hasnt called me to hang out. I justfound out he had a party at his house last night and didnt invite me. Was it a break up or is he just taking sometime alone? Im not gonna call him, just gonna wait if i know there's still a chance but this is killing me every single second...

This situation sounds like an easy let down. Meaning that he will slowly distance himself from you till he will not contact you again. The party ws a big red flag since you did not get invited

OH honey, I am soooo sorry...This is just me sounds like he has broken up with you.... I mean if he had a party and you were his girlfriend I'm sure he would have invited you..Guys are confusing and normally if they say they want to take a step back its a nice way of saying I don't want to be in this realtionship anymore...But for your sake I hope that I am wrong...Good Luck....P.S. It sounds like to me that this guy is just keeping you around long enough to find someone else. Maybe he didn't invite you to the party because he did find someone else. Move on, don't let him play with you. Call him up and tell him you're done with him. I know you like him and it hurts, but if you don't end it now, it's only going to get worse.

im sorry to say this but he think he has already broken up with you, the fact that he hasn't called and that he didn't invite you to his party. its a good thing that you haven't text or called him cos if you are always on his back about if your still together he will get annoyed and this may ruin any changes you have with ever getting back with him. leave it until he gets in touch with you. i hope everything gets sorta out for you. good luck with him x

Ok he probally wants some time alone but call hime to see what's up because it is not fair for him to leave you wondering because if he wants you and you want him then you should be together but if he doesnt want you the he doesn't deserve you. but the party maybe he need a way to be crazy. and if he said he want to still be together maybe you should trust him but still call to see what 's up

Call him and ask him straight out is it over..it may hurt but you need to know. But in my opinion its over, because I think he should have called you and told you he was having a party but it was for his friends if he didnt want you coming, but atleast he doesnt want you to find out from another. But obviously he doesnt have you in mind
