You need to seek medical advise concerning the problem. No, your facial features don't change, but when you are depressed, everything seems weird. A lot of suffers have what is known as a panic attack and this could be what you are experiencing. You will only know by seeking the right help. Start with your normal doctor and go from there. Just remember that you aren't alone. Only positive thoughts and actions will help. Good Luck.

Ella I feel deeply for you. I have a friend her problem started out sounding similar to yours and then it spiralled into a full blown enormous problem. She started seeing things in the T.V. that weren't really there. She would hear people telling her to kill herself and she said it was coming from the T.V. and we could be watching it and she'd freak out right there. As far as your facial features changing you should get someone that knows you and just ask. Do I look different lately? Do I seem out of the ordinary to you? Best maybe to ask your physician all these questions? There could be some mental off balance somewhere in your brain and there are drugs out there that can help you live a normal and functional life. If my friend hadn't of got help when she did, she wouldn't have been here now. So I Plead with you Ella go seek professional help, to be safe. Take Care. God Bless Friend.

I don't currently suffer from depression, but have went through it before. I think it's the depression that is causing the illusion that your face is changing. It's sort of like those girls out there that look in the mirror and see themselves as being fat when they're really so skinny. There is an imbalance in your brain that makes you think and see things differently. Just try to stay positive and surround yourself with people that make you laugh. It sounds completely stupid, but you should think of a hobby...something new that you would really enjoy that would take your mind off things that get you down. Here answering and asking questions is a start...it keeps you occupied. Just do less asking and more answering. Maybe try myspace...it's pretty time consuming. Anywho...don't fret silly, things can only look up! Have a great day!

Your facial features won't really change. This might be a sign of depression, but it could also be something else/additional. You should talk to a psychiatrist about this, they'll be able to advise you.

You need to tell your Dr about this, there are medications that can help you. You might want to go to About.com and read on Schizophrenia. Bi-Polar disorder can cause this also. Do you ever hear voices or noises of things that are'nt there? If so, take a Schizoprenia test, they should have one on there.

You don't say if you're on any medication. Some of the stronger anti-depresants can have strange side effects. Ask your physician if anything that may be prescribed to you could be causing this.
