My little boy is nearly two and has his feet measured every month or so, we went on saturday to Russell and Bromleys for a new pair and to be measured, the next day I had a call from my mam saying he kept collapsing on the floor crying she checked shoes twice and second time found that a label was right at the bottom of the shoe, there was a blister and hes been limping ever sice and its weeping under his big toe, I rang the shop to make sure it didn't happen to another child and they said before anyone fits a shoe they should take the tags out, what should I do

Nothing but put a band aid on the blister for the little guy. Maybe a feel better kiss. It is only a blister and it will get better. He will be getting a lot more boo boo's as he gets older that for sure. As far as the tag in the shoe goes....You should have checked for and taken out the tags...It really isn't the stores fault.

Remember to take the tags out next time. Always check your childs shoes before putting them on could be spiders in there.

there is really nothing you can do, just take care of the blister and make sure you check his shoes from now on, before you put them on him.

The only thing you can do is instead of just looking in the shoes feel with your fingers as well then you'll know for sure.
