My ex only ever showed emotion once. That was when I left him. He cried, he begged etc. I felt a bit sad really at the time, it was the only time in 7 years he showed his emotions. I think guys just handle emotional stuff differently and have a distant like relationship with thier emotions, but when something really, really, really goes wrong for them they turn up. I always encourage my new guy show his emotions, weither happy, sad, tolerant, irritated etc. That way we communicate extremely well, know how the other one feels and share so many happy times together, just case of letting them show, but you can still control them to a certain level.

Contrary to many beliefs, men have feelings. So yeah, a man would cry after a break up...depending on the reasons for the break up.

Yes they do. I have seen men cry in sorrow, anger or joy - they are only human!
Some men don't cry in front of their partners or mates. They tend to go away some where privately to weep away from prying eyes.
That is maybe why we rarely see a man cry. It is also seen as a sign of weakness in the eyes of some men (and women).
Bless them! I don't consider a man weak because he cries. Mind you, I may think he was being silly if he started crying over spilt milk. Women do cry too, you know.

All depands on the reson of break up. Most man show you a brick wall of defence so if you where just a one night stand, piece on the side then no there'll laugh but not cry.

Ummm, well my Brother cried when he realised he had ruined everything with the girl he loved by cheating on her!
When he told her she didnt want to know anymore, he cried!
Also my best bloke mate when I was younger cried loads and loads when his girlfriend cheated on him with her childhood sweetheart! They got back together in the end but he did cry alot!!
Once I told my partner that was it and I was going to leave and he acted really cool at first like he didnt care but when he realised I was serious he cried, we worked it out as he apologised for being a to**er!
I think it totally depends on if the bloke loves the girl or not!

Not if they dump the girlfriend. Getting dumped is another matter, it hurts, especially if they really liked her. Not that many would admit to it. They will act like they don't care and were in the process of dumping her anyway, cause they had met someone else etc. They have their image to look after and their friends to con.

I cried a few times when me and my ex broke up, what did it was just thinking about how perfect she was and thinking about certain things she did, and some memories. Men cry when they really love something and it goes away. Theres no shame in it.

Some men do some men don't - some men are frightened to show emotion so they just block it out and act all tough and macho in front of their mates when they are probably dying inside too themselves.

Ofcourse not if their the one that does the dumping. Cuz if a guy breaks up wit you he just doesnt care any more so he has no reason to cry.
