thats when everyone gets judged for the things they have done in this life, cos if u say nuthing happens tht is totally wrong, merely cos what about all the injustice in the world, murders, killings, missing ppl? to which there is no answers and true punishments, so this is the time when evil is punished and burnt in hellfire, only ppl with faith and good life will be able to live in heaven with their loved ones for eternity, and they will never suffer nor will they ever die, like in this world. So may i recommmend a very good book which u can find in the library anywhere everywhere or any book shop, its called The Holy Quraan, and u will find lots more thn i have mentioned here, happy searching

Well, the first thing is that everyone sets their eyes on what you owned... . They want your house and the things you have accumulated over the years. Your car, your fishing rod or camera, or anything else that you owned. People become vultures, aggressive, argumentative. The funeral Itself takes a large chunk of your money. The surplus.... somebody else wants. They have a big piss up and scoff the grub....By this time your almost forgotten.

As for me. I'm enjoying my life..Spending my money and doing the things I want to do. Selfish.....maybe, but then I wont be here
to worry about things. What little I leave behind they can fight over. If I were you......Just get on with your life the way you want,
because they wont worry about you after...... that's for certain. If you want me to come and hold your hand, I will......as long as I can have your ring.:-)

Most people accept that the physical body if buried will decompose. Obviously if cremated it will turn to ash. The soul, spirit or whatever you want to call it is a different matter. Every religion has a theory of what happens, from maidens carrying you off to Valhalla, to playing your harp in the celestial choir invisible. The theory I prefer is quite simple, you get whatever you expect and believe you will get.

There are some pretty blunt answers on here! Its different for everyone depending on beliefs etc.

Nobody knows what happens after death, its the only part of our lives we don't control. Who knows if there is something on the other side.

Your body stops working and decomposes but, your soul may live on.

Depends on the religion you and your friends and family believe.

In the US:
most of the time they prep the body by draining fluids
add a little makup and clothes
put you in a casket or cremate you

I would be afraid to believe the answer of anyone who attempts to tell you what happens to your "Soul".

As for your physical remains, they eventually return to there basic chemical form. Sometimes quickly through cremetion and sometimes slowly through natures process of removing dead remains through bacteria and other larger creatures that live on it.

Some of the body are minerals such as calcium and they will remain for a long long time.
