Many factors affect the stability of a power system; pressure, temperature, flow, turbine speed, the rate of change of pressure transients, power surges, etc. If the system is stable, these effects are minimized to the system output resulting in stable, continuous output of the system---electrical power, cooling flow, and comfort to the recipients.
