I think God knows what we are going to do, he is omniscient and doesn't exist in time... He knows every breath we take and every hair on our heads, but that doesn't mean He made the course we are going to follow. He just knows the path which we are going to choose.

How we live out that plan depends on how much we want to control our own lives or allow the Holy Spirit to lead us to live out God's plan for each of our lives. Jesus promised us in John 10:10 that we will have life more abundantly. If we faithfully live by the truth and grace of God we will live a life of heaven on earth.

I dont think its mapped out as much as HE knows what will happen prior to it happening. But we do have free-will.

No, I don't. That takes out the element of free will out of the equation.
By giving us free will, God has made it so that our lives are not predictable and can't follow a certain "script."
I firmly believe that the reason we are put here is to grow to be a better spiritual entity and to prove ourselves worthy of the kingdome of heaven.
No, I don't believe in "fate."
