So what the hell is she going to do with the rest of her life with just a GED??? She better be proficient at asking "you want fries with that??" as that's going to be her career instead of a stepping stone job! *WTF* Finish high school...go to college...get a degree...strive for a better life for yourselves!!!! Who wants to struggle all their lives?!!

First of all, Don't listen to these judgemental idiots. Second, I do not believe you can get tested for a GED before the age of 17, but of course that is in my state. Look up your states ged site by doing a search for it and I'm sure it will provide that information for her, as well as good practice testing sites to prepare. I do suggest she does it asap the older you get the less you remember what you learned in school after all. AND a GED is just as valuable as a Diploma, don't allow anyone else to persuade her about that, Good Luck!

That depend on in each state. I know are 16 and up.
The depend on her on how long she want.
There are some have deadline for the tes.

However better to finish high school you will need the diploma, it's very important. If she /he is just 16 they only got 2 year left to complete.

Check with local public library.

i think it depends on your state. Your gf should really consider staying in school .. I have my GED and it is not looked at the same as a high scholl diploma even for a burger job. If high school is boring or too gossipy maybe she could go to a different school or check into home schooling.
