My cat won't let me brush her belly so she is getting some knots in that area. Would like to get them cut off and professionally groomed so it doesn't pull on her skin.

When i took my kitten to get groomed it cost $25. I would Call around a few places if there is a petsmart by you they do pretty good.

For a belly/genital shave (sani-clip) it should be around $30-40, and up to $60 or so for a full body shave. Plus sedation, if need be. You should definitely check out a cat-specialty vet clinic, since they're usually better able to address cats needs in these sort of things and not try to treat them like little dogs.
BTW--when it gets so matted, it's a lot easier and kinder to just shave it off than to try and pull the mats free. Your cat will appreciate it.

It cost about $45 dollars to have my very old cat groomed every month or six weeks. She didn't have mats and had a comb out and bath from the groomer.
I took another cat to vet to remove a few mats with clippers and they wouldn't even charge me for doing that when he was there for something else.

going today for the same thing, although it will vary depending on where you live, here it is $30 and if they have to sedate then it is another $35 now I called some other places and it went as high as $60 but I'm taking mine to a veterinary clinic rather then a groomer, I feel safer that way with my pets.
