"The other day i was walking by the river, waiting for a boat to carry me across to the other side, when pieces of wood gathered and formed a boat, i went onboard and it started to move to the other side, but there was no captain."

I, frankly see nothing wrong with the above, i find it perfectly rational, Do you?

EDIT: This question's aim is to highlight the absurdity of How such a complex Universe with such a detailed mechanism can exist and run without a creator.

So, it must be a christian sky fairy that did it? Makes perfect sense.

That's stupid! It should read: "The other day i was walking by the river, waiting for a boat to carry me across to the other side, when an invisible wizard magically created a boat for me out of nothing, and took me across! I knew it was an invisible wizard, even though I never actually saw him, and don't actually remember how I got across the river, but here I am on the other side, so it must be true!". That makes a lot more sense, don't you think?

How about if you're waiting for the boat to come along, but a bunch of undead zombies comes up from behind and completely devours your brain.

You forgot to include the underlying mechanism by which the boat was able to assemble itself.
