They actually did a study on this..and it was in the Smithsonian magazine at one time...although,I can't recall what year...but, my friends and I used to talk about this kind of stuff, way, way, way, before this article ever was published!

also what color does a word look like to you,and or what words look like their actions?
For me laugh...really does look like it is "laughing"!
and for other examples....the letter "C" I think would be in the color yellow and the number one would be in white!(Just to give you some of my thoughts here!) :-)

C is a blue for me, but it might be because the C in CMYK stands for Cyan. I understand what you mean and i've been fascinated by this idea for years. It's called synaesthesia and was once regarded as a disability like dyslexia. It's the idea of information received by one sense having an effect on another, for example tasting sounds, smelling textures etc etc. Look up synaesthesia on wikipedia - very interesting.
