It is more important to be yourself. It may be handy in many years time when people think you're younger than you are because you are so young at heart.

WHAT??? Why would you want to....your old enough to get into a pub even if someone thinks you're 18-19!!

Be happy with looking that age - wait till you hit your 30's love, then you'll be dying for people to say you look 18!!

Honey please be thankful that people think that you're 18 or 19 that's a total compliment. Don't change looking young for anybody just be you and enjoy the youth. Because when you reach my age in your 30's you'll be begging to get carded and everything else.

You know, I used to have the same problem, I was always being ID checked when I went into a pub or to see an 18 rated movie.
Now I'm 42 and have two teenage kids...no-one ever believes me when I say they're my kids, they always say I look too young! Now that's nice! No need for anti-wrinkle cream or botox for me yet!
Unfortunately, my 18 year old son is always being asked for ID, and my 16 year old daughter passes for 13, so they're going through the same as I did.
Enjoy your youth while you have it!

Well i am turning 30 soon buT people i met or even friends thinks i am only 21 or 22, they often say "you are younger than your age & yes older when you talk", i dont want to pretend but when they compliment me about my age and the way i talk ed i just thank them and smiled wiht this phrase " sharing smiles and making people happy makes me young not only at heart but physically as well" you do not need to change of who you are. Just be yourself.

Dont worry you should take it as a complement!! People still think I'm 18 and I'm actually 23!! I will be brilliant when your 30 and people think you are only 25!!Any way they are only a year out --- i really wouldnt worry x

Appreciate it, when you get older you'll be desperate for people to think you're younger than you are! I was chuffed to bits when I went on holiday to Florida and was asked for ID to buy cigarettes....I'm 30!! ( And I know they probably ask EVERYONE for ID, but I don't care. It made me feel good about myself!)
