Scholar believe it is the Gospel of Mark.

About 50 gospels were written in the 1st and 2nd century. Only 4 were included in the bible - Mark, Matthew, Luke and John - allegedly written in that order. All the books that Paul wrote were written prior to these 4 gospels.

It is thought (with a pretty good amount of proof) that Mark was first followed pretty closely by Matthew and Luke. It is believed that Mark's Gospel at least helped set the stage for the other two I mentioned. Thus, these three are commonly referred to as the synoptic Gospels. syn= same; optic=see/look/view Thus, they all 3 look very similar in content, format, and wording. John wrote his (it is believed) at LEAST a decade later.

even that Mark wrote the gospel of what he hear, that was the first one, then Matthew, Luke and the last was John.
the gospel of Matthew was wrote for the Jewish, Mark for the people in Rome, Luke for the people that believe in other God, and that they were expecting a perfect man, and John to the new church in Christ .
