Well "Pretty Girl", for thousands of years, men have had some sort of fear of women. Women were treated as slaves. (This is still going on today).
We can't stay living in the past. Yes, some religious leaders want us to live in the year 4 E.C. (Christ's birth), where women were still enslaved by their husbands.
I hate to see women being mistreated. I will never accept any religious teaching that says that women are subjected to us men as if the women were cattle.

Actually you are wrong the Bible does trash neither Women or MenAnd it does say that both Adam and Eve sinned not just Eve it even says that it is through one Mannot Woman that sin entered into the World,(Romans5:12) so even though Eve did convinced Adam to join her in sin, it is Adam that is Said to have brought sin into the World not Eve how is that So?After allEve did sin first? Well so why blame Adam if Eve did the deed first, would it not squarely put the Blame totally ontoEve if as you claim the Bible trashed Women,But it does not trash us Women, the Bible says the reason why Adam is the one that brought sin into the world in(1Timothy2:14) it is because Eve was thoroughly deceived but Adam was not so he knew fullwell what he was doingwhereas Eve was not as aware.Yes both of them did sin though.

Look a little closer, in the Bible in Genesis shows that the woman is the refined product, the Bible also talks about Abigail a wise woman, Check it out the first Missionary was a woman( the Samaritan ) and no Eve didn't lead Adam to sin he sinned on His own. Look when God asked the woman why she had sin she replied "The serpent deceived me, and I ate." Eve was deceived Adam disobeyed, sin enter the world because of one man in this case Adam.

I truly believe the bible and koran were thought up by very repressed men who had control issues.
I always pray directly to god if I am feeling spiritual as man is such a disappointment.
It makes you wonder just what the world would have been like if women had all the power, sounds like a good question for yahoo.

The Bible was written a couple of thousand of years ago. The Quran was written in the 7th Century. These texts came out of primitive societies (going back to the Bronze Age in the case of some Biblical material), and so we shouldn't be surprised that they reflect a primitive understanding of relationships between the sexes. Fortunately, most of the world has developed beyond that primitive understanding.

The Bible actually hold quite a few women in high esteem. Mary the mother of Jesus, Mary Magdalene, Ruth, Esther...... I don't think the Bible is trying to make women feel second class.

My friend, if you think that the Bible trashes women, you have no understanding of it whatsoever.
God loves women dearly and there are many, many examples and instructions for men to treat women with dignity, respect and love.
Please do not trash the Word of God if you do not know what it really says.

My bible holds women up in high regard. It tells me that His creation of man was not adequate until He also made woman. I have read the bible through each year your many years and never found anything degrading women.
Genesis 2:24
For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.
Ephesians 5:25
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her

Hello! pretty girl.
The word of God does not down women it shows their being human, along with their strength of spirit, just read the book of Ruth, which portrays those who enter into a new life through trust in Him.
The Bible teaches that when we stand before God we are neither male nor female.Galatians 3:28.
Take care!

Women have been looked upon as second-class citizens throughout the world until (in a few areas) just this last century. They still are looked upon in that way in many countries.
