I thought he was the one. We were in a long distance relationship. We've kept in touch for less than 2 years, when we the time we agreed upon to meet draws near HE DISAPPEARS. no replys despite daily e-mails, sms, missed calls to his phone.
GUYS, WHAT GIVES? last time we talked was Valentines and we told each other I Love Yous. Now I don't understand the silent treatment...sigh!

it sounds like he wasn't who he pretended to be so he couldn't meet you.It doesnt mean his feelings weren't real just maybe he wasn't giving you the whole story of his life.
I have heard so many similar stories so i suggest a meeting much sooner or at least proof they are what they say they are

Long distance relationships are hard work. I too was in one for just under a year and we found the strain of not being able to be with each other too much to handle in the end.

This guy obviously seems like a jerk though for not even letting you know. It could be that he wussed out at the last minute, was scared of how he would face you. But to not contact you at all since Valentines that is just weird. Maybe he is ashamed of himself for letting you down. You need to just get on with your own life, guys like that just aren't worth your time.

Unfortunately guys might want to get out of a relationship but dont want to hurt their girlfriend or be there for the drama...

I understand how you feel, but I assure you its much more complicated then just saying "Its over". I've been there, and being blunt with someone you care about while breaking their heart is a horrible horrible experience.

This guy sounds like an douchebag anyway...I assure you, with the kind of dedication you have for waiting two years, you would do wonders for a real man.

Good luck, and respect yourself enough to throw that trash away.

Are you sure he is OK? (It would be sad if he was in the hospital or something.)

If he is OK, then he just isn't ready. Find a real person who you can see everyday. Long distance is OK for 2-3 months, then go your separate ways if nothing comes of it by then. You wasted 2 years of your life. You will never get those two years back.

Think about that.

Islander, thank you for sharing and that i ask for forgiveness for the region which you're in. My suggestion for you is this: i choose you to think of of your suitable relationship and what features it encompasses. (i.e. Honesty, integrity, sincerity, etc.) next, i choose you to take the guy talk approximately, and try this for each guy after that, and notice how his character compares to the features of your suitable relationship. Is he elementary? Does he have integrity? Is he trustworthy or is he playing video games? Be elementary while doing this. each and every each and every now and then while at abode, what we choose is an apple, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that we've an orange. And no remember how puzzling we try to instruct the orange into an apple, the orange will consistently be an orange, never an apple. rather of consistent to choose the orange replaced into an apple, does no longer that's much less puzzling to bypass exterior and get an apple? If the guy who you're does no longer have the character which you're searching for on your suitable relationship, flow on until you detect it, until you detect your suitable, given which you deserve it! undergo in strategies, that in the time of the time of this entire technique and in existence, your happiness and your wellbeing could desire to be first and maximum appropriate. solid luck. Cheers.

first of all. as a guy. we all think alike. just getting off. over the internet. most guys are drunk are high on drugs when they give you there phone number. and in a couple of days they are hoping the woman will take the hint and stop calling him. pice of advice for you. don't believe what they tell you in chatrooms. they are only after 1 thing only. and they tell you anything are they tell you what you won't hear. just to get off. sorry be straight forward. but i been there and done that.

some people just dont have the nerve to be honest. they dont really care about others feelings. there being selfish about how to tell you so they would rather string you along. I had that happen to me when my man got engaged to me and left to portorico and then told my whole family and brought me a beatiful ring and then called me a couple of times. But when I was sending him letters he never responded. I could never understand. I was sopose to be going there for vacation a couple months later to see how I liked it and the number then was changed. I was hurt and embarssed. I no your feelings. But I moved on I no that things happen for a reason. But I got me a $2.500.00 dollar ring out of it.

He is a coward and probably was playing with you. Also, could be he is already hooked up with someone else already and didn't want to meet face to face.

I know u need to know for sure.... just try not getting in touch with him for sometime and see what happens.
