Today Airbus and Boeing are the leading aircraft manufactures. But at the moment Airbus is having to release 10000 employees, but I believe though that Airbus is the leading aircraft manufacture with much more fuel efficient aircraft and quieter.

Come on EUROPE

there is a lot of anti-airbus bashing here - don't let that deter you from considering a job with them

boeing is great, but you should also consider companies like lockheed martin (JSF F35) and BAE Systems

A lot depends on where you're from and whether you want to relocate andwhat skills you have etc etc

as for some posts belittling airbus' efforts in the military field.......airbus concentrates mainly on commercial airliners (and kicks boeing's a r s e) but does have activity with some military aircraft/equipment......however it's parent company EADS has interests in military and space activities AND COMPARES GREATLY WITH BOEING AND LOCKHEED....

EADS can claim supremacy in a lot of fields, such as helicopters, space (Galileo programme - many times better than the current American GPS system and it's coming upgrade), jet fighter machines (eurofighter, rafale etc) and many more fields

don't take any notice of people's biased opinions against airbus or europe.....make your own mind up. good luck

Boeing is the better one.
Airbus is lame when it comes to innovation, just look at what happened to their big bus.

Boeings have won wars and they have always shown how things could be done better.

And Pranav, they stopped calling it 7E7 more than two years ago and she aint called Dreamliner for nothing. Maybe thats why the Orion spacecraft derived its cockpit from the 787.

Still waiting for Airbus to give something new to aviation.

PS: This is not taking sides with continents, just my opinion about the two aircraft manufacturers and their productss.

well known Airbus: A320-2 hundred well known Boeing: 717-2 hundred the rationalization why maximum airways are not making use of the Il-ninety six besides as different Russian airways is probable because of the fact of political motives besides because of the fact the reality that they rarely have something in undemanding with the fleet the airline has already.

I would suggest Boeing is better. They have always been ahead in the industry. Their designs and aircraft performances are the best. They are also on time and clever to work in the industry.

Ya, even i feel that airbus is better buh boeings 7e7 is also fantastic....just check the cockpit!!! But then the A350-XWBs more than a match fr it =D
So basically airbus is better in terms of aircraft and avionics (boeings are so irritatin and pointless) but boeings gettin the idea of future planes correct (7e7 is fast, cheap to maintain an really fuel efficient which is wat airlines nowadays want)

I prefer "BOEING" for one very good reason.

The Aircraft that "Boeing" makes is "BATTLE PROVEN" !
