I remember reading that we look at the clock constantly as a habit but dont really register the time. However when you see the time is 11.11 or 22.22 for example it sticks in your mind better because it is a pattern & our brains are design to find patterns.
Also once you have the experience of seing the clock at 11.11 you will keep it in mind making it more likely you will recognise 11.11 all around you, I think its called "perceptive set".

Thats what always happens with me anyway, once a number sticks in my brain it starts to turn up as page numbers and licence plates too!

That is strange! I noticed that whenever I look at a clock, it either reads 8:11, 9:11, or 11:11. Strange!!

Stop looking at the clock, Maybe it is trying to tell you we are living at the Midnight time in God dealing with people.

If you have a digital clock, you have a short in one of the chips on the back side of the counter. It registers a "high" on the pin that reads for each digit position.

Since you've posted this in the religious section, I'll have to add that you'll have to take my answer on faith.

f**k me, I noticed this when i was 14. so like 12 years ago. I can't believe you asked that. Me and my mate decided back then that was the time we were gonna die. I still get freaked out when that happens. Can't wait to read the rest of your answers to see if there really is a reason!!

This has happened to me too, sometimes more than once in a day, in the morning 10.10 and later on 15.15 or 21.21, usually use them for lottery numbers but haven't won yet. lol
