A version of this quote can also be attributted to Lt. Cmdr. Roy Boehm, the first commanding officer of SEAL Team Two ( The Godfather of all SEALs). Roy had met with Pres. Kennedy after he (Kennedy) had authorized the formation of the Navy SEALs.
