honey, never. If you don't respect yourself enough to get out of a bad relationship, it won't change. If he tells you he hates you, it sounds like he's trying to drive you away. Then, you are the "bad one" for leaving. The only one you can change is you and if you aren't happy with your situation, it's up to you to change it.
I was dating a guy who was a jerk once and so I broke up with him. He was upset and promised he would change for me. My response was, " Well, you might change for a while, but pretty soon the real you will pop back out and I still won't like you". So, he's not gonna change for you.
Good luck

may be he has some problem with u. has he ever doubted u? may be its the reason why he is doing it. stay calm with him, without reacting if u want to live with him. after some years he might cool down. but take care to not get doubted by him again. and try to defend if he accuses u of anything. ur being silent might be misunderstood as ur accepting the mistake, so with no anger, try to prove ur part (though u might have done a mistake). only this can help. above all, u can tell him that u r hurt coz of his actions and needs some time to get it healed. a seperation for some time(not divorce) can also solve the problem. but dont forget to defend urself against all his accusitions.

He never will and it will probably get worse if you stay. Please find someone to talk to who will help you feel better about yourself and then go on with your life without this husband of yours. There is someone out there who will give you the love and respect that you deserve. But first you have to love and respect yourself enough to get out of where you are. Life can be wonderful and it is too short to stay in the dark where you are now. Good Luck.

He will respect you when he is on his death bed and needs you to attend to his every need. or in short never. If you think you deserve to be treated better which you do then it is time to do something about it. Either leave him or make him change his habits which is unlikley.

If you want him to respect you, you need to divorce him, find someone better and live happily ever after without him.
