Why do we have to put up with this open display of bigotry on the streets of Scotland.
Shazza was quick to condem me for calling Rangers shoplifters, but would gladly rejoice in the fact her lot get to ruin the peace of milloins of people every July, by celebrating a king who wasn't even a king, and a battle in which very few protestants took part.
Two questions after I answered and was shot down in flames for being a bigot (which by the way I am a protestant Celtic supporter, work that out) Rangers "fan" Cleanandblueboy, Fudgie to the regulars, was again rejoicing in the single mindedness that keeps this wee country of ours in the backwaters of the world.

Wrong Alf you moron. The question is about the two faced attitude and the hypocricy that surrounds you morons. See JP's answer. Right on the nose. If you lot want to shout and protest and march, do it in your living room.

Once again the true blues rise out of the woodwork like fat from mince. Katie, check your history, Scotland is originally a catholic country. Hence we are a Celtic race.....

Malks & Pope 11. Totally agree, these marches are about celebrating killing and war and murder. The people who march in them are no better than the people who supported what the Nazis done. They are about murder because someone is different and that's wrong. Would Christians march to comemorate killing Jews, or the Sikhs about mursdering Buddhists? I think not.

Sadly Sluttt this is probably the only place the bigots WOULD discuss it, in a soccer forum. Let's see now if Shazza condems her fellow Rangers fan Scott for bringing the slagging of children into a debate on Bigots.

As usual the intelligence divide shows itself on the forum. Biker, Clean and Blue Boy and Punkarama obviously don't know their history and didn't bother to even read the question (well it did have a lot of big words in it that probably aren't in their benefit forms). Scotland if you study it's history, was, is and always will be a Catholic country. So your stupid comments are flawed right away. Kilmar is right, UEFA can sort you lot out, but what chance have we got when our own stupid councillors and politicians join in your kill and murder celebration festivities???
Scotland I fear is doomed in the hands of the neanderthols!

Midgie, if you dont agree with certain people on here you are shot down as a bigot! Orange Walks are a public nuisance. Local by-laws in my community forbid drinking in the streets, however, on marching days this is openly flouted! The obscene noise coming from these tonedeaf monstrosities is enought to have you running in doors anyway. It is an obscenity in a modern Scotland which portrays itself as an ethnically diverse, welcoming nation for it's people to be marching on the streets celebrating a violent past which decent people would be thoroughly ashamed of!
And LF, your tolerance for Orangemen is touching, considering you found a comedy Nun to be very offensive. Mibbe if you got back to thinking with what is between your ears and not what is between your legs we could get back to some kind of discussion forum here!
The most offensive thing about this question, midge, is why did you post it in Scottish Football. What a sad indictment of our beautiful game that no one else noticed!!

Midgie i completely agree ,these marches of either persuasion should not be tolerated on the the streets that belong to all,but at times resemble a war zone due to the nature of these walks of hate,L2F i also have spent a lot of time in Belfast and Ireland as a whole ,you know as well as i ,that not everyone is so relaxed when marching season arrives, the point is these events are to celebrate the hating of a culture that is different from your own,and with idiots like the 2 above me there will always be a tendency for violence and in some cases death, something i witnessed on the streets of Glasgow, where 1 guy died and another was locked away for 14 years,so do you think any of its worth it,NOT ME.

Clearly this question is no more than to have a swipe back at Shazza. The point about you answer was that your attack was on children.
In short nobody forces you to listen or even acknowledge these days as anything other than you want to.
Midgie Man - You got it all wrong again. Look at your answer to me and others. Look at the answer from LF which is one I respect and agree with because he talks from experience. I stand by what I said and your intolerance is there for all to read. There is room on this forum for both sides of the Old Firm who enjoy a bit of banter and a laugh. There are others and it seems you are one who find it too easy to spew their learned bile all over the place . Go look in the mirror.

why do you feel the need to repeat yourself by saying that you are a Protestant that supports Celtic ? who really gives a **** ! what do you want a bag of ******* donuts or something ?
i presume that you would have went to a Protestant school and this could be the reason for the chip on your shoulder as you were probably blootered all round the playground for going against the grain
as for marches Scotland is a free country and for that matter a Protestant country it does not matter what it was in the past its what it is now !!
you don't need to listen put earplugs in or turn up your diddly diddly dee music

I was born, bred and buttered in Belfast and grew up watching and listing to loyalist and republican parades, they do cause disharmony in the communities, but by and large they pass of peacefully,i do agree that they should not happen here in scotland, but they do,their music neither annoys nor pleases me,water off a ducks back,i have never marched in one nor wish to.In Belfast and ulster as a whole they take place during public holidays when the shops etc are closed causing minim disruption,But in scotland they are held during busy sat shopping days and can cause disruption, for this reason they shouldn't be held here, but ban them and you would have to ban all type of parades here,ie govan fair, march against the war etc.we in Ireland leaned to live with them, but we also seem to be able to embrace peace better than the scots,so change your mind set people and come together.

It's only political if you make it political. The whole sorry affair happened bloody years ago. Why don't you just think of them as a bunch of saddoes who go in for battle re-enactments and the like and get on with the rest of your life?
Go back far enough in history and pretty much everyone has been done over by someone.
I don't feel opressed if I see somebody dressed as a Roman soldier circa 100BC.

To most it's just another weekend with a good excuse to get out their dense skulls and run riot as these morons know for the damage they cause there's not a lot of arrests for serious offences. ffs' Uefa acted on sectarianism and bigotry and charged Rankers and yet Glasgow council still bow to it, mind you most of them join in the melee.... it's a stone age custom for the Ibrox neanderthalls

i agree wif you there bud, i'm not a prod or a catholic neither an atheist....but to be honest i see your point with the walks , they are offencive to ppl but they see it as there right to march the streets to show there pride in what they believe in, if it was catholics doing this, which i've seen in some part of glasgow and ayr then there is massive trouble and complaintes about this , so i think they are hypocritacal, they can do it and expect no comeback but when the others do everythings up in the air!!! in my view all biogtry should be dealt with a strong clampdown by athourities,no walks no nothing in the public view....you want to shout about your religion then do it in private
