SAP is an ERP.It give solution for all the industries.In SAP lot of modules are there like logistics etc..
Now a days alot of institutes are there for giving SAP trainning for less amount.if you learn there you can't get more practical experience because SAP need a network.
So try to join in a Good Trainning center.
Companys like Satyam,Siemens offering SAP trainning.If you learn there you will get good knowlege in SAP.
If you want to be a Programmer learn ABAP Script.
You have good future in SAP.
But you have to spend some money.
