....while totally ignoring that in Zeus's pantheon, it was Apollo who carried the Sun which is of course we found out not true,
and Egyptians believe that it was a giant sky dung beetle who rolled the Sun..again proven not to be true?

Apollo is a god of Illumination, not of the sun.
Atheists who use Zeus and Osiris as examples are often shockingly ignorant as to the core faiths of these deities, which often consisted of both a metaphoric and a scientific belief, and which was not threatened by things like astronomy and science.
