I have a small mixing desk I think it is an Alaris, i am running two speakers, one mike, and a minidisc player from it. ialso have a digiech multi chorus box but i don't know were to plug it into the desk, am am afraid of messing things up, if i put it in the wrong socket, can anyone advise me please?

what instrument are you trying to run to it to record with? When you run your instrument, run it through the box and then into whatever available input there is. which should just be labeled as an input. putting it in the wrong place wont do anything to mess it up at all. dont worry about that
