A guy at uni seems to like me he flirted with me like staring at me and touching my hands. I knew he had a girlfriend so I didn't ask him out. He seems to like me but it looks as if he's shy around me even tho he's married so why did he get married if he has feelings for me?

Because a guy can have feelings for more than one woman at a time.

Oh god girl you could be me! i watched a guy I shared stuff with (emails/touches/calls/flirting) have kids and get married-i even went to the wedding...you know what in the meantime i had 2 kids and got married too. Ten years down the line it's still going on, we're best of friends but never lost those feelings. It's true what one of your other replies says, just because you marry doesn't mean you lose your ability to be human. if you can you're best to move on as you have a fresh life to lead and he won't leave her, would you want him to really-I could never live with my 'friend' as I would wonder who had taken my place as the distraction. I can't deny i've had some fun and ultimately know i've got someone to turn to in a real crises but it's come with a price, jealousy, heartache, neglecting my own family, the list goes on. If I had my time again I would let go early on, you deserve a life and some fun without ifs and buts from a confused man who is struggling with conformity-get out while you can!

I guess you have never been married before. I assume that you think that once a guy (or girl) get's married...all of a sudden they stop being human and stop feeling. Well, let me tell you that they don't. I am married and that does not mean that now there are no more good looking girls around. In fact, there are still many. I am not in love with them but I can think they are cute and nice and I can INADVERTENTLY flirt with them. Please understand that married men and women are still normal people, they just should try not to act out on any alternate feeling they have for others. But, if they do just don't take too much heart to it...they are not yours and can never be (unless you want to reckon with is wife). He may just enjoy the fact that you respond well, but still be VERY happy with his wife and NOT love you. Be careful!

I think you have not realised his true intentions. I think you have just taken his flirting as a sign of "liking". Its not that sweetie. It is just that he was trying to play with your feelings. Some guys are like that. They just flirt around with girls and get married where they or their family wants them to. Ask your self "Do you really need this type of a guy who flirts with every next girl?" And morever if you would have been with him or if he would have married you... just think what life you would be leading? Just thank God that he didnt let this relation happen. It was for your good. So dont think about that Guy and move on.

Just because he flirted with you, this does not add up to feelings. He is married so you need to back off, unless being the other women is your idea of fun. Leave the man alone. God bless****

From someone who has eloped I quite advise eloping. That way you do not might want to make certain to damage anyones thoughts. The day will be about you 2 merely. then you definately also will have a lot extra funds for a honeymoon, downpayment on a house etc.... merely placed on a white dress

He should not have gotten married if he cares for someone else. He may have gotten married out of guilt, Not a good thing. That only means it wont last.

Just ignore the guy coz he doesn't deserve u to like him...he's just testing the waters and to be honest, I don't think he deserves any girls...and his marriage probably will not last.
