really in lots of ways, its the same thing. She's looked to the future and tried to imagine being with you permanently, and it doesn't feel right. Maybe it wouldn't feel right with anyone just yet, you don't say how old you both are, but if its plus or minus 20 by a few years, then your both still young. I'd back off for a bit if I were you, hard I know, but give the girl some space, and she'll come to a clearer way of thinking much quicker. It's a bit harsh to say she lied, you kno, cos shes probably just as confused as you are. Hope it all works out for you.

Maybe, but I wouldn't bank on it. That's pretty harsh, her telling you that she doesn't love you. Even if she does have a fear of commitment, how are you gonna change that? I think she would just end up hurting you more than she already has if you continued to pursue it. Also, you got two different answers, she can't even be straight with you. I bet she doesn't even know what she wants.
Move on. I know it sucks but I'm sure there are other girls who would love to be committed with you and not be scared of it.

Yes. Fear can keep a person at arms length. It's sad when you love someone and they do this to you....it's even sadder for them that they have been abused in the past and are afraid to love again. Being alone is less painful for them.

Does it really matter if it's fear of commitment and not love. In many ways, I think they are one and the same. You cannot love without commitment - that's simply infactuation.
move on, there's more and better out there.
