How did you find Jesus? What happened to you that made you this way? How do you know it was Jesus?

I was addicted to pot and that isn't very good. Because pot made me paranoid and a whole lot of other things that I don't want to get into. What I did was accept help from some relatives of mine.
To amke a long story short, I trusted him in the way that I was told would be right to God, I admitted that I was a sinner, and asked God to forgive me. I told him that I believed in his Son Jesus, and that he died for my sins. I also claimed his promise that whoever believed in him would be saved . . . I was not ready for what happened next. I was alone that night in a bedroom with the lights out. I had a VERY memorable "spiritual awakening".
You see, I was somewhat of a psychic before that happened, and I knew what a spiritual experience felt like. But now it was a spiritual experience beyond any that occurred to me before.
I won't go into the details, but I was cured of a few things at the same time.
The reason why I know that it was the Christian experience is that eveything coincided with that so called 'sinner's prayer.' And that was twenty years ago. Many things have happened since then, I wouldn't trade this form of Christianity for anything. With much study, I have found it easy to continue in faith, knowing that he really is there.
Anyone can doubt it, but I know that I don't. It was way too personal.

I had Been an Atheist and just about everything (not GOD) for twenty years. It was Christmas vacation from work and I was out in the back yard smoking a cigarette and thinking to myself that all I wanted for Christmas was to find absolute truth. I heard a voice inside of me that was clearly not mine. All it said was "Merry Christmas Lance." I knew it was Jesus and I knew a lot of other things it meant too. It is impossible to explain it but when GOD speaks you just know everything. That's how Jesus found me.

I found Jesus at the weakest point in my life i was going to have a Baby and i was alone and very scared. I called out to Jesus to help me i told Him i needed Him in my life and i asked forgivness for my sins. at that moment i felt peace.
I knew it was Jesus only knowing Jesus can give you this kind of peace. I hope and Pray you find Jesus in your life. God Bless you.

I was lucky, I was born in my religion. But I didn't really know Jesus as I know Him today. But when I pray to Him, He sometimes talks to us in the silence of our hearts. You will know it is Him because He is very good and full of Mercy. He is very powerful and He can do all things. He is everything that you want Him to be. He is perfect. He is kind. He is loving. He is just. He is wonderful. He's really God. He forgives our sins. He died for our sins. He wants us to love Him. He is lovable. He is the Truth. He doesn't deceive people. He helps people. He comforts us. He never leaves us alone. Actually, He lives in your heart. You can speak to Him. If you try, He might even speak to you. Maybe not in words but He will make His Presence felt. Seek Him. When you find Him you won't be sorry you tried. Go to a priest or a spiritual director who can help you in your journey. The devil may put obstacles in your path when he knows your trying to find Jesus. Keep trying. All the pain and sacrifice is worth it. Maybe it won't be all rosy and easy but it will be worth it. God's love is just too indecribable to put in words. He is looking for us and He wants you to find Him. Ask Mary and the angels to help you. They make the journey easier and smoother. I found Jesus by asking Him to do something about my husband and He, very lovingly told me that I should stop trying to judge my husband and do something about my own soul's state. I know the voice because He shows me such love and patience and understanding, even when I mess up and I still do but I feel the forgiveness because I know He does forgive and I believe Him.

You can't mistake anyone for Jesus. He is one of a kind. When He comes, you know its Him.
I asked Jesus to come into my life and reveal Himself to me and He did. Best thing I ever did in my life was to invite Jesus in. Praise God.

I found my cat, Jesus, at the local animal rescue center. He is a lovely Siamese with a placid nature. Try your local rescue center if you want one, you may be lucky.
