His quote:

'Americans "are very frustrated," he said, "and they have every right to be. We've wasted a lot of our most precious treasure, which is American lives, over there." '

Ive been saying this for years, saying the lives of our troops have been wasted, thrown away for a nothing war. Yet I get shot down in flames on here when I say it.

I hope those of you who condemn me for saying these words, also condemn McCain for using them as well.

The reality is people we have to stop burying our head in the sand and pretending that just because they are dying over there we should kid ourselves its for a worthy cause.

I would rather our troops were alive and back over here, than dead fighting to control a bunch of squabbling Iraqis.

People are frustrated with McCain. He tries to be be both Democrat and Republican at the same time. He is weak. He was nearly the worst student at a U.S. military academy.(Graduated fifth from the bottom of his class at Annapolis after his father got him a pass to get into the school. http://www.ontheissues.org/Profile_John_McCain.htm)

First, he proves he is a patriot by serving his country. And then he proves he is no longer a patriot by wanting Mexico to invade the U.S.. (Him and Kennedy wrote the law that would legalize 20 million illegal foreigners in America)

Illegal immigration is a bigger issue than Iraq. Iraq war will be over in less than 3 years. Illegal immigration is the biggest problem facing America. What is decided in congress will have an impact for hundreds of years to come. I care about the future of my country.

Illegal aliens are really bad for America.

My opinion of Senator McCain has not changed: I admire what he did in the Vietnam War and pretty much disagree with everything since. He simply panders too much to both sides in the hope that someday he can get what he really wants: the Presidency.
As for lives being wasted; no they have not been wasted. They, through their sacrifice, have helped rid the world of a dictator that was maniacal as best, evil at worst. While the situation over there at the moment is, well, trying, it is not a lost cause. We need to finish what we started and not leave that place a horrific mess.

i don't think of race performed an argument in not desiring MLK to have a fed trip. do not forget, on Federal trip journeys government gets a commission trip, and once you're finding at astronomical spending, you attempt to spend your cash intently. As for the debates, McCain in basic terms needs to not look stupid, or be uninteresting. Debates purely carry lots weight whilst a individual walks interior the voter poll.

Well, from the beginning, I felt that Iraq was a mistake. But McCain has always believed, and still does, that invading Iraq was the right thing to do. He is simply saying that Bush cannot tie his own shoes.

And Obama wasn't even in the Senate when they authorized Bush to go into Iraq. In fact Obama has always said that he believed that Iraq is a mistake. Can you understand why we cannot get decent leadership in this country when people spread flat out lies about the ones who have the foresight to be decent leaders?

To "stop the invasion". Yeah, you are a hate monger. Look in the mirror in the morning. Pathetic. Also, it is spelled "Obama". Not "Ombama" or "Oboma". Way to get people to take you seriously. That being said, Barack said that he said the same thing, it was a mistake; and that people should not judge John McCain for it. I dont agree with Senator McCain about most things, but i think he has integrity. I disagree with his plan for Iraq, but i think it is a plan with some thought to it, rather than the non plan of the bunch of corporate criminals that got us into this thing in the first place.

So did Oboma, but at least John McCain apologized for his error. Spineless Ombama couldn't even do that.
