With its ridiculous claims that one day will finally be universally rejected due to its pseudo-science, it simply furthers the notion that religion is based on falsehood. Therefore, it ironically destroys religion.

It is ironic indeed.
The fact that the Vatican announced at the end of last century that evolution was an acceptable theory shows that the good old Catholic church has more sense than the numerous sects and cults found in the USA that insist on science and knowledge bashing .

not true...intelligent design is a religion also...i thought everybody knew that. it's like the pagan religions of old...long buried, but always the basis of what came later, due to politics, governments and environments.

I'm sorry about my Anti- Yankee sentiment but i really don't care if America falls. If conservative Christians are really that stupid, would you mind bringing back C.S. Lewis to life and try to convert him to atheism so that your earthly world will rise.
