Take it slowly. try to reduce smoking day by day.
Tell your friends that you want to stop smoking so they dont offer you.
Chew mint chewing gum if you feel like smoking.

This may help, write down how many you smoke per day. then smoke two-three less every day for a week. Then the following week do the same this may take a couple of months to reduce cigarrete intake to 5 a day. Now make sure you write down what you smoke and dont cheat and dont drink alcohol because all your inhibitions will be out the window. A little bit of light excersise, like a short walk around the block or to the beach or park is also benificial, good luck it is hard but you can do it. Would be nice to still be around when your kids grow up dont you think? This is not a lecture ive smoked cannabis, tobacco and speed for years and now i never want to put another chemical in my precious lungs again..

Eat only when hungry. Eat only nutritious and not junk. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in ur meals. Do not take more than three meals a day unless diabetic. Nothing in between except water. It will help u to contain ur craving for if u chew each morsel of food 32 times. It will also help ur brain to generate a signal that u have had enough.
Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly. These practices will help u to attain ideal weight within a reasonable time span.

Let your kids hide the cigarettes so each time you want to smoke you have to look for the cigarettes.
