The Chinese lunar calender was implemented by the Yellow Emperor of the Yellow River civilization about 4700 years ago in 2698 BC and the Mayan calender began on August 11 in the year 3114 BC over 5000 years ago. Based on biblical geneologies and events, Christian Bible scholars date the global flood at approximately 2304 BC +/- 11 years. In addition, Genesis speaks of Noah's 3 sons as the beginning of all the nations in the world today. Japheth = Europeans, Shem = Semitic people, and Ham = recognized as African people. This doesn't account for about 2/3 of the world's population. Some religious scholars claim that the unified human language divided into at most 72 languages after the fall of the Tower of Babel but there are about 90 or more UNRELATED language families in the world today that have developed into individual sub-families and languages at least over the last 6,000 to 4,000 years. How do these existing civilizations tie into the infalible story telling of the Bible?

It's true that we would be in the year 5767 according to the Hebrew calender but it is not the year of the Exodus. The date is refered to as 5767 AM (Anno Mundo) meaning " the year of the world". The Hebrew calender is predated to when the Hebrews believed the world began based on their doctrine. The flood would have to have eventually taken place with in that time spand. Most creationists believe the world's entire existence is no more than 6,000 years old. The Old Testament then gives amazing geneology from Adam to Noah and onward through David and beyond. Taking this into consideration, the Bible does give a time spand for existence that other civilizations can not fit into.

The Hebrew calendar now is 5767 which began at the time the Israelites left Egypt. So the flood could not have been 2304 BC by that math if you subtract 2000 from 5767 you get 3767 BC The time of Noah's flod was much earlier than that about 7500 BC. The above illustrates why, the existence of other civilizations are dismissed... coz according to several historians, when the world was supposed to be submerged in a global flood of Noah, the Ancient Chinese were already cultivating silk.
