How to change format of clips from VOB, IFO and BUP?

I need to edit a project on Windows Movie Maker and the format needs to be .asf, .avi, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, and .wmv so what do I do? Can u help me? Thnx

sure fist of all convert the DVD movie to avi, use a movie converter i recommend MPEG4 direct maker and convert using divx codec. then use windows movie maker and do your project.
