Christians & muslims, what do you think about this?

Many Christians (not all there are some very respectable christians on this forum - this question only applies to those that insult islam) are always insulting muslims & saying that we are all terriorists , it doesnt matter how many times I explain that not all muslims are like that & you cant blame us all for the crimes of a few & still you keep on telling me that all muslims are bad & Islam is satans religion.

After reading this link - do you think that i should label all christians for the crime of these christians priest , should also call christians disgusting names becuase these priests all over the world are committing these crimes.

If you say NO - then let me ask you this : why is okay for christians to commit crimes & people should not blame the religion but its not ok for people to seperate Islam from the crimes of a few extremist muslim.

Do not say that Islam is a violent religion because i have explained numerous times the so called violent passages in the quran that christians have so eagerly pointed out.

I have noticed that no christian person has commented on the article regarding the christians priests of the catholic church.

TRACY "A few" is the correct statement because in case you did not know there are over 1 billion muslims in the world, so a very small portion of that 1 billion actually believe in terriorism.

Its funny how you quote verses from the Quran but you leave the end of the verses out like when you said Muslims should not be friends with christians & Jews .............. you forgot the part where it says Muslims should not be friends with christians & jews but they should respect them as people & respect thie beliefs. The Quran says do not Judge anyone because we should leave the judgement for God.

Next time deep sky try Quoting the versse in the quran until the end , do not use the part that only suits you.

To the Poster who claims that "peaceful Muslims are a minority", it should be noted that there are roughly ONE BILLION Muslims on this Earth...ONE...BILLION.

Now, if we round off the actual figure to exactly One Billion, then a "majority" of that number would be NO LESS than 500,000,001.

If there were, in truth, 500 Million-and-1 "non Peaceful" Muslims, there would be a whole lot MORE problems facing America and the West.

If "violence" was an established tenet of Islam for ONE BILLION Muslims around the world, there should be more evidence of this in the behavior.

However, the truth is that the number of "non-peaceful" Muslims is miniscule when compared to the number of Peaceful Muslims who don't make the headlines, because they are getting along well with their neighbors.

I'm a Christian Summer and I believe that God will judge each person according to His or Her works, irrespective of whether we are Muslims or Christians. This world is plagued with those who generalise and thats a real problom. We cannot make blanket statements, the day that stops we'll have peace. No matter what we call ourselves, if we don't think before we speak and if we for some reason count ourselves to be above others, we are nothing but fools.

I am Christian Orthodox, as my parents and ancestors. I believe in goodness, tolerance and am away from any bashing or "labelling" Islam as religion, in reciprocity Muslim people. I have very dear to my heart Muslim friends and religion never ever was a factor that impeding our feelings. It is crazy to be generalized or claimed that "all the terrorists are Muslims". When I say my prayer I do pray for health, peace, etc, as my Muslim friends do. The truth is simple, there are good people and bad..it's not up to religion. Peace!

Do you believe that I am going to comment crimes commited by Catholics clergy? Let them to feel ashamed and to receive their punishment. By the way, that's not an isolated case..

It just that the media here in the USA wants to sell newspapers and our government officials want to scare the American people by saying we need to go to war. and the officials are saying that the Muslim beliefs are mostly about violence. How that is not true i know that because i have Muslim friends i am a Christian and I have read the Koran and the bible. Christians and Muslims are kind of different and kind of the same in the ways that as Christians we believe in god and so do the Muslims. I think you have it wrong there are proably not christians that are insulting inslam on this forum, instead it is the pig headed closed minded atheists that criticise and insult all of us that are religious regardless f whether we are muslim or christian etc. The Jews arent perfect either but I think most christians are tolerant of each other. The christian church has not been innocent of wrong doing over the past centuries to.

a) Catholics are not christians, so the basis of your question is way off base...

b) I dont believe every muslim is a terrorist. But the religion itself does teach to kill those who dont believe as you do, its a fact. Christianity does not teach that, and that is a fact...
