Isn't a popular saying, A house divided against itself cannot stand?
What is America's identity? It used to be our forefathers of a great religion. Was that religion violent? Did they invade, steal, take over? Are we now paying for our wonderful forefathers history, or are we embraced by the world at large. Where has our revolving heritage brought us, who is our hero of today?

America is so diverse the tallest guy in the nba is chinese and the best rapper is white.
So yes america is pretty diverse

Abraham Lincoln delivered the "house divided" speech in 1858, in reference to the unrest in the south and threats of secession. America's identity, since you asked, is in the First Amendment: Congress shall make no law regarding the establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. So the premise of your question is wrong. There was no one "great religion."
And yes, America's early history includes invasions, stealing, and takeovers. Look up the Trail of Tears, and Sally Hemings.

Was their religion violent and did they invade, steal and take over? Why not ask some Native Americans or African Americans their opinion on that?

America's founding father's were strongly against having any religion imposed on everyone, so I guess the default for the country should be atheism.

American doesnt stand for anything anymore. We are going down, way down, way fast. We allow anything and everything. No respect from younger generations, our "barbies" are now "BRATZ". Things are so bad. We need to get back to the basics of the bible, live for God, and moral!
