Sleeping in seperate beds is one idea but it's a drastic one to jump to.
Sleeping in different beds is common, lots of couples do it whether they're just married or have been married for years.
If it's the sex you're worried about then don't be - you can still have sex, it may even be more enjoyable for the pair of you.
Different beds means different rooms or two beds in one room, either may improve your sleepless nights.
Have you seen your GP? He may be able to prescribe something to you, or take some herbal relaxation tablets - be careful they can be pricey, so shop around!
Why are you tossing and turning? Are you stressed at work/home? If you don't have a particular reason then you may want to look at relaxation techniques or routines before bed time to help your body shut down for a good nights sleep.
It's perfectly normal and you're not alone - remember that!
Talk it through with your wife and seek help from your GP.

Good Luck! xx

I wouldn't sleep seperately, but you can do what my husband and i did: get a bigger bed so you have more room to toss around in (we got a king and he has more than enough room) and we always sleep with seperate blankets so that if he turns over or i do (i wiggle a little too) nobody is hogging the covers. ever since the switches, we both sleep like a baby!! hope it gets better for you! (:

No, you only need to be aware that you have now somebody sleeping with you. Try to control your movement and turning by hugging your wife during sleep. You may get a big bed but not to sleep separately with her.

If it's better for your relationship, I don't see why not.
Or you can get two single beds but join them together so that the disturbance is lesser.

My husband snores and it really irritates me as I'm a light sleeper, which makes me grumpy and angry at him as I don't get quality rest. And because I'm in a bad mood, my husband's mood is affected too. Thankfully, he travels very frequently so I still get my rest and it's earplugs on other times. If not, I think separate beds is a totally acceptable solution for a happier relationship.

It is not a good idea to separate bed. Rather try to minimize your moving. Your wife is light sleeper. Request her to do some physical work before go bed. Then she may have deep sleep. And can not find you are moving.

If she's a light sleeper, and needs to get up in the AM, you may want to get two beds, and place them side-by-side. I personally would be more irritated with you if you did this after only six months, but then I no longer need to get up in the early AM.

It wouldn't hurt, men tend to thrash around more in their sleep. You can always meet before sleep.
