reported that he ended with in jesus name we pray and was discharged for this reason was reported on christian radio

The pastor did not get discharged because of a prayer, that is a common misconception.

He was fired because his prayer was at the white house (not the issue at hand), protesting a decision by the military that chaplains at general personnel functions should behave in a non-denominational fashion (protesting is also not the issue), wearing his uniform (THIS is the issue: you cannot protest or endorse political causes in uniform, especially not when your superior officers have ORDERED you not to wear your uniform to an event. A troop who cannot follow orders is ASKING to be discharged)

What did the Pastor pray for? Peace? Love? Turning the other cheek? Forgiveness? Charity? If so, they may have just fired Jesus Christ, too.

Man I just watched the opening prayer of the House of Representatives on CSpan today. You gonna have to give us more than that. I aint buying the stinky stuff you're selling.

It kinda smacks of the same concept that took prayer out of schools only to have people wondering ---why there are so many "Godless kids" !!!!

Think thats bad,

Theres a school here that has banned children from running in the schoolyard for fear of them getting injured and then sueing the school.

Crazy.
