Thinking of going to stay at the Hotel Alpino, Lake Garda in June/July. Have read some reviews where the noise seems to have been an issue for some people, but just wondered if it was people of a certain age being fussy or it was actually noisy! If anyone's stayed there, please let me know what you thought of it and if it was indeed noisy, what time it quietened down! (Not that I mind noise, but am taking my mother for her 61st birthday...)

Lake Garda - great place !!
I don't know the Hotel Alpino, but it might be handy to compare it with the Hotel Ariston right in the heart of Malcesine.
It landscaped gardens and is positioned a few steps away from the lake,the historical center and alongside the Monte Baldo cableway which is the starting point for hikes.
Then there are some other hotels in the district which I'd recommend that you compare, using the image galleries, pricing and location filters.
