I have a round face shape with long and thin hair. I cant find the right hairstyle! Would layers help? But that would only make my hair look thinner and flat!

Layers are great for thin hair, trust me on this one. Try a feather or step cut. They'll add volume to your hair, making it appear less thin.
Make sure you ask your hair dresser to keep the last layer long (tell him not too cut off too much) and add lots of layers (usually we get 3-5 layers in a step-cut) The more steps he can add, the better!

Since you have a round face shape, you could try hair styles with fullness and height at the crown; Off center parts in your hair; Short hair styles with a swept-back direction or hair styles that are longer than chin length. By layering the top to achieve fullness and keeping the rest of the cut relatively close to the face, your face shape will appear longer and narrower.

I have a fairly round face. When I don't wear my spects, it looks a lot rounder, to the point of it being very round. Firstly, don't have a center parting hair style, it really enlarges your face. Side parting/ side fringe is a good idea, or a fringe down the front of the forehead isn't bad either. Try to style your hair whereby there is more height at the crown, the added height will enlongate your face.
