I have a guy friend who:
(i) always enquire whether my friend if boy or girl (everytime i use the general phrase, "my friend"); and
(ii) if it is a guyfriend, he would ask whether he's an admirer of mine or whether i am keen on him.
But, he's never taken chance on us. We have gone out... I am beginning to think we are mere friends... but, I don't think I will be so keen on my normal friends with respect their love lives.

It seems like he likes you, but he could be just controlling. Perhaps he is asking all these questions because he wants to know if you like anybody else right now.
I think you should ask him directly why he wants to know if you are talking to a guy friend, and why he wants to know if the guy friend is somebody you are "keen on".
If he likes you, he should take some responsibility it expressing it to you. Otherwise, it becomes a waste of time.

Hi Counter, Sounds like this guy is a real JERK. He doesn't know what he really wants and is playing around with you. Why would you be upset with your normal friends because of their love life!!! It's not their faults that this JERK is playing games with you. Find someone who with like you for who you are. Drop this DEAD BEAT and move on to better grounds. A Friend.

This is simple....he wants to get a girl before u get a guy...if he sees u with a girl he wants to bang u...he doesnt love u or will ever love you ....BUT....he just wants his cake and eat it too....
